914World.com _ 914World Garage _ OT: Anybody ever used this....

The team owner put me in charge of finding a way to remap the engine on the 325. I think because he knows about my SDS conversion on the 914. Anyways, it desperately needs it, and this is what I came up with.

I haven't committed to it yet, but it looks like the most promising option for the OBD I BMWs. And since they can apparently be used for the late 80s 911s, I was wondering if any of you had some hands on experience. Good or bad stories. Yadda yadda yadda. Thanks. Merry Christmas!

Looks neat. Much easier than removing and reflashing the EPROM every time.

Yup. We've got a flashed chip in there right now, but it's not working so well. I want something tunable. We can't go stand alone in this class, and I haven't been able to find an interceptor that plays well with the Motronic ECU. I just double checked the legality of this setup with SCCA and it should be fine.
