914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Hood Torsion Spring Bushing

Posted by: 914_teener Jan 8 2012, 06:03 PM

While poking around and looking at my rear trunk lid and why it was always racking when closing I noticed this:

The drivers side has a round slotted bushing between the torsion bar and the latch.

All the other pics I have tried to find have it on both sides.....correct?

Also....how hard is this to disassemble and fix....couldn't find any threads on it.

Thanks,

Rob
