914World.com _ 914World Garage _ where doo the parts go

Posted by: Mr.JAJA Jan 20 2012, 09:28 AM

Hello and good morning here.
I am new on this Forum and building a 74 914-4 2.0 liter .
With having most of the part, I cant find the mounting points for the manifold pressure sensor and the ECU.
Dos someone has picture from the location?

I tried to match existing holes with the brackets, but no luck. confused24.gif

Thank you

I have a 75 d-jet, should be same. the ECU should have a bracket that it mounts to , and the MPS should have a black braket, triangle shape that attaches to the side wall just up from the fuel rail on passanger side,
Post a picture of these areas in your car, thismight help us too.

welcome to world

The ECU bracket bolts to the front of the battery tray.

If air conditioning was installed (at the dealer), they usually moved the ECU up onto the firewall with some L-shaped brackets.
