50 or 55 amps Mike, if you want more install a bus 75 amp one.

Thanks....I was remembering 65. I just ordered an 80 amper for the Type IV.....needed some more omph for the electric fans.

Mike, check to be sure but I think two of the connectots at the alt or the relay board are swapped.and if you use the same wire harness you'll cook the batt very quickly!!!???

Mike..

make sure you get a ONE wire GM alternator. Very easy to run the chargeback wire to the starter.

I use a GM late model truck alternator for tow package (110amp) The late V8 caddies also ran this setup.
