Hello There,
I changed my suspension inserts from Sachs to Bilstein.
The lock washer which you bend up to secure the nut from loosing is heavyly damaged.
The Bilstein came with a new nut with plastic stop (I have no idea how you call this thing in english )
Do I need the washer when I use the new nut?
Peter
Well, I call it a Nylock.
You don't need the washer with a self locking nut, but if you have it put it on. The tab locks into the broach in the shaft and keeps the washer from rotating.
Listen to SLITS, because, you see, he actually IS a self locking nut.
