Where ever you see white primer, it's been cleaned to bare metal underneath

No motor mounts!

Same as mine....got rid of the T-4 lump and don't need em' no more. It makes room for other stuff.

Unless you plan on having heat... cut off/cap off the heater tubes. They make the chassis VERY weak right there. Looks awesome. Wish I could be there to help you on it.

I think I have a good days work of cleaning/grinding left
Then I'll testfit the engine/tranny and see if all the braces I have in mind will actually clear

Thanks for the pointer on the heater tubes
I won't have heat, but I'm thinking of using the heater ducts to run oillines for the front cooler
Not sure at this point (will have to figure it out soon)
If not, I'll cut em flush and weld 'm shut (and get rid of another water trap biggrin.gif)

Posted by: Andyrew Sep 6 2004, 06:32 PM

Hmm.. Brad you got any pics of that??

I need to do that.... (jots down on the 200 page list...)

Posted by: Jeroen Sep 6 2004, 07:03 PM

Andy, this will give you some idea...
Mind that if you cut the tubes flush you still need to make sure they are attached to the surrounding sheetmetal or the tubes will be loose and banging inside your longitudinals...
