72 914 with a 1.7 engine

trying to find out what part belongs to the hole in the upper right corner? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Looks to me that that's a loose part, probably part of the induction.

IIRC that is a warm air duct that connects to the inlet of the air filter. Prevents intake icing in winter.

Thanks for the fast responce but its not the warm air duct because if you look right above that hole you can barley see the warm air duct that is already connected to the air filter. So its got its got me kinda stumped any further ideas greatly appreciated

What is above there is the intake tube. It connects the air filter to the throttle body. The stock air cleaner has a fitting on it for a warm air connection that hooks to the empty hole you see.
