sorry for the forum post, but need this part....
Aaron,
How is it going? I don't have a silver one, but I came across a spare black plastic one you're welcome to.
I know I've seen black anodized metal ones, but not silver metal - interesting!
Enjoy!

I don't think there was ever a silver emblem, but a lot of the black anodized emblems faded to a pewter color.
Heck, I need a 1.8, a 1.7 and a 2.0 badge...
Reason? Fliping the 2 to make a 5, and putting the numbers together to make...
914-8 5.7
Ta da!!!
Some weekend...
While we're at it...
I need a black anodized one (9-1-4) if anybody has one they would like to sell.

A thread detailing the downside of an identity crisis.
Try Ralph at Boothe Design (626) 336-1396. He sells silver hood crests for about $80 each.

Have to talked to the Long Ranger thru his interperter Tonto?
The first silver emblems are metal, hot off the tail end of gold metal ones.
Flipping the numbers isn't going to look good.
