Tangerine Racing headers and muffler...when it was sitting in my living room a friend thought the headers must be part of a musical instrument of some kind.
I said they ARE part of the best kind of musical instrument, the kind that you play using your feet.

It actually is.
I have the same setup and it is surprisingly quiet until around 5000 rpm.
After that it starts to sound very, very angry ...

Please visit post # 38...... that is my car.
The picture with this post is NOT my car.
The VINs are thirteen numbers apart.
The engines are consecutive numbers !!!!!
The engine in this car was rebuilt in 1990 but was never started.
It was done by a guy I worked for in the mid '70s
My job is to plumb the fuel pump, tank and carbs.
Electrical.
Oil tank and plumbing.
Start up and adjustments.
Install interior.
Make it a runner/driver.
Pretty cool right ?

Just goes to show that the VINs and engine numbers do not go in lock-step; there was some shuffling that occurred for various reasons.
