oops!,,,,,,here

Looks like he's a smoker - he'll have to show ID to buy some - he'll show up when he finds out.

I really hope you get him back!

Posted by: VegasRacer Sep 29 2004, 07:17 PM

Bummer dude.
He's a cute little bugger.
Looks like he's part pig and part cow.

I sure hope you find him.
Did he have tags or a collar?

Posted by: SpecialK Sep 29 2004, 07:35 PM

I hope he's a little older than the pics show. He only looks about 7 weeks old. I'd start checkin the neighbors with little kids (really, he followed me home mom!;)), he'll turn up!

Posted by: MattR Sep 29 2004, 07:50 PM

Ive had a few close calls with my dog and the trash people. I have a husky, so he loves to run... fast... and far...

Too bad and good luck finding him!

BTW, NICE name.

Posted by: onrails Sep 29 2004, 07:57 PM

thanks everyone,,,,,i just put out some "'lost puppy flyers"'
unfortunately those pics are only about a week old.
good guess he's about 8 wks.

he only eats legos on occasion,,, (not on the daily diet)

& if he started smoking,,,,,i'll have to find & punish him.

no tags ,,,little spike collar(8 wks old) just got first shots.
i'm going back out to look,,,,have to put kids to sleep first.

i'll post again soon!

Hope you find the little guy Brian.

It's prolly none of my business but I gotta know... idea.gif

Why was that little 8 week old puppy out in the yard by himself? He'd have been safer & more snug in a crate in the house, or some kind of small kennel outside.

I lost a young-un due to its eating a bad thing.... and we were out in the yard with her. Took our eyes off her for a moment. She ate a broom bristle, poked a hole in her intestine....

Brian,

Sorry to hear about your pup - that's tough. sad.gif

Posted by: ! Sep 30 2004, 08:56 AM

Andy hates carbs....he has a set with low mileage. If he can get an EFI....he'd part with them.... biggrin.gif

Sorry to hear about the mutt....we have been dealing with a remodel and the construction maroons have left the gate open so many times I can't count.

All our mutts have tags and microchips....two Labs and two Dauschunds.....I have gotten many calls on the female Lab....she cruises out and makes friend's. I get a call and go pick her up. Knock on wood...never had animal control pick her up.

The big worry is her getting smacked.

Posted by: bondo Sep 30 2004, 09:03 AM

Speaking of animal control, have you checked there? I used to have a black lab that was a runner, she'd jump right over a 6 foot fence. We had to pick her up from the pound 4 or 5 times. They also usually have a bulletin board where you can post lost flyers. Good luck finding him!

Posted by: onrails Sep 30 2004, 10:08 AM

he had done fine in the back yard,,,
usually slept in the plant room, waiting to hear my car.
now,,,,,you can't drive or enter a store within a mile
radius of my house without seeing a pic of weber.
if he isn'r returned,,i hope someone is riddled w/ guilt
for life!
i'm checking the crappy apartments by my house tonight.
probably see some dirty little welfare brat playing w/him.
poor guy will have fleas by the time i get him back!
thanks everyone!,,,,,,the search continues!
BRIAN
p.s. no leads at animal control

I thought was the only one who got suckered in to four dogs and in the same size range, 2 poms and two goldens !!!!!

onrails, good luck, hope you find your puppy, I know how fast they become family.

Posted by: 914_1.8t Sep 30 2004, 11:29 AM

Thats too bad.
Our dog (6 months old) was gone when I got home one day and man...was i bummed.
I looked for her the whole night............woke up in the morning and she was sitting at the front door and her collar was missing. <_<

I hope you find him.

Posted by: Toast Sep 30 2004, 11:36 AM

Owwwwaaaaa... How adorable! wub.gif
I sure do hope you find him.
I would definatly check the apartments.

I really dont want to say this, but you may want to check with the local clean-up crew that removes dead animals from the streets to see if a puppy has been cleaned in the last week. Im sooo sorry to say that. I hope dearly that this is not the option that proves true. But it is a possibility and may put finalization or comfirm hope.

Good luck.

Posted by: onrails Sep 30 2004, 12:05 PM

OUCH!! the pain!
never the less,,,,,,good call & thanks for the concern.
it could be some closure atleast.

We have seven pups at home, one of which can climb any fence. We sometimes catch her climbing back in.

Check with cops, mailmen, garbage collectors anyone going door to door or on routes in the neighborhood. Lots of lost dogs on my doggy list the last while. Most had successful conclusions. You do have to act fast with young dogs though.

Our climbers sister escaped from the house sitter while the owners were away. She was lost for a few weeks. She was found, very thin but alive. She is more of a shadow to her owner now.

Best of luck.

Any luck yet finding the puppy?

Poor thing! And what a cutie. Unfortunately, a pup so young and so damn adorable will more than likely get "adopted" quickly by a passer-by. Post fliers at the local pet supply stores and local vet offices. For sure, if someone happened to "own" a puppy all of a sudden, they'd need puppy supplies, and would want to get shots. Talk to the employees at vet clinics and pet stores. Make friends with them and make sure they remember what Weber looks like. Good luck!

Jenny, Brian and Snoopy

and keep us posted!

no remorse for anything they do?
love your brothers & sisters,,do what you feel is right,
we're all sharing this earth together
just a few simple "points to ponder"

I'm really sorry for the loss.... sad.gif

Posted by: bob91403 Oct 5 2004, 09:12 PM

Might want to post at the local schools. Kids, most likely to drag a pup home and beg to keep it. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

Posted by: Mr.C Oct 5 2004, 10:17 PM

I would be calling the Gas Company there and demand some sort of payment for your lost dog. I know the Gas Company here in California will do that if you holler loud enough.

Posted by: Series9 Oct 6 2004, 12:42 AM

NO!!!!! No such thing as giving up on a pup! It's only been a few days.

Keep trying, you'll find him.

Posted by: Jenny Oct 6 2004, 10:44 AM

sad.gif sad2.gif I'm so sorry. Definitely still keep your eye out for him. But, unfortunately, without any tags or chip, it'll be your word against the new owner's word whose dog it is.

agree.gif with Cabasa. Call the gas company and raise hell. They do this for a living, and should know better. Good luck.
