I met Matt Romanowski in the morning. Thanks for stopping by Matt.
Also signed some autographs for a few cub scouts - made me feel like a celebrity.
My race was mid-afternoon. The threat of rain didn't materialize until more than an hour after my race. I felt sorry for the fast Formula Atlantic and Sports 2000 drivers, who had to return to their paddock and switch to rain tires, then had their race shortened to less than 15 laps when time ran out.
Conditions were pretty much perfect for my race. The car felt the best it ever has and I ran several laps in the 1:01's (best was 1:01.4), chasing the leaders. Traffic was a bitch, and I finished third overall behind a E Prod TR3A and a Baby Grand SPU car. My average speed for 25 laps on the 1.5 mile track was 87mph.

I almost forgot. Tom Gilmore stopped by my paddock too. I met him at the ECR. He has the nicely painted Sheridan bodied teener. Good to see you Tom.

This is my best hardware.
The Porsche (Rennwagen From Zuffenhausen) poster on the left is autographed by Derek Bell.

Mike Hogan
You are the Man! Now, maybe this winter I can get my car ready to actually drive next year.
Great Work Chris!!!!
It was really fun to watch you duke it out from the left hander. We were hanging out no top of the motorhome. We could see you start reeling the baby grand in, then he must have used traffic to get away. Fantastic running though. You looked really good out there.
Matt
Congratulations Chris, That was a very clean and well driven race. You are going to be very tough to keep up with next year.
(Not only was Chris the 2001 & 2002 NARRC FP champion but he provided the critical parts for the 2003 & 2004 FP NARRC champion #08 914-4 driven by Scott Rosnick.)
We hope to have more Chris parts and get to try to keep up with him next year.
Congratulations & Thanks again.
Ed Givler
Next year he'll have a new engine too... and a new engine builder as well!
Chris, great to see you still going stronger and stronger!
That's AWESOME, Chris. Congrats!
We're all proud of you!!
