I've got a pair of NOS OEM Porsche 914 mudflaps and brackets. Should I put them on my car? What's your opinion? Why?

Do the OEM ones have Yosemite Sam on them?

Posted by: Aaron Cox Oct 3 2004, 08:45 PM

no they have naked german girls on them wink.gif

Posted by: Headrage Oct 3 2004, 08:56 PM

If you put them on you have to add "Curb Feelers" to make it authentic.

Posted by: bob91403 Oct 3 2004, 09:05 PM

Did Porsche make 914 curb feelers? God, if they did, I have to have a pair. Very period, retro chic. As long as they're OEM.

Ooooooooooooohhhh, that's nice.

Do a Poll.

Posted by: GTeener Oct 6 2004, 02:16 PM

I wanna see what they look like on your car smile.gif

Rumor has it the factory manufactered the flaps to protect the jack point areas.

Posted by: bob91403 Oct 6 2004, 02:34 PM

Don't see how they could. The only thing they seem to prevent is the collection of crud inside the rear bumper and the body underside at the back of the trunk. Way behind any jack point I think.

You can't mud-flap a 914!

Well, someone had to say it... laugh.gif

Mud guard G914 559 309 10 Driver's bracket G914 559 312 10 Pass. bracket G914 559 311 10. The brackets bolt to the two holes you'll find at the bottom of the rear fender and one point under the trunk.
