Any tips or ideas of what works besides shelling out for the expensive socket.

Sorry I am using the wrong search words because I cant find it. The search dont like 3 letter word searches.

Really ? Stuff the socket with the bag or apply it over the nut ?

Bag over nut and then socket over bag. There are better tools but this works in a pinch
