So I have made a bit of progress on the 912 Turbo project. Actually, I have been working my ass off to get some things done. I just got the car back yesterday from Tony over at TCDesign who installed a killer cage just like I wanted it. I must say, his welds are a work of art and I am overall pleased with his skills. I also have secured a new 923 transmission to mate up to my type-4 engine. The 923 transmission is simply a 915 with a type-4 mainshaft used in the '76 912E. The gearing is also slightly different than a 915 and should work well with my project. I will be taking it apart, cleaning it up, adding an aluminum diff cover and possibly some WEVO products. The car goes to Napa on Sunday to get painted by Brandon and McMark so I have to scramble to finish all the stripping and welding. Stay tuned...
'nuther nice one from Tony

That cage is sweet. A structural masterpiece. Tony knows.

Thanks guys!
There were a lot of comprimises with the doors bars compared to what would be done on a full racecar since Brittan plans on mostly driving this car on the street.
