I just spoke with Stephan about a new seat he is working on that will work with the stock backpad and track. I think it will look something like this:

I need side holes and a seat hole for a 5 point harness and a stock headrest. Then I'm happy.

Great...the ones pictured do not fit the stock backpad...but if they modify them so they do, that would be great!

Granted I just got some Konig seats (bought the design from Scheel). They are snug, but very nice.

I sure like my Renegade Hybrids seat, has stock headrest and works great with 5-point or stock belts.

Don't mean to be a party-pooper, but I think with that style sidebolsters, the seatbelts (lap belt) won't work very well...

Some of the Porsche owners may know our seat,at all shows and occasions I have been asked for seats for the 914 to fit the rear original padding.
Well the prototyp is made and we are working on the production model,it will have more ,or actual real side support,using the original mounting and tilting mechanism and an interated headrest.
The seat called "LeMans" in memories of the 914/6 GT of Ballot Lena ,will be available at the beginning of next year in leatherette/basket weave,leatherette/corduroy or in leather/ corduroy and leather with perforated leather.
Pricerange will be according to the Nürburgring.
The Nürburgring and Rallye ST fit only without the rear padding or with alterations to it.We hope to meet most of the needs of the 914 comunity.
I have emailed him about the fit with stock seat belts.

Your won't slide during an AX if you just take out the stock seat cushion. It's A LOT cheaper than new seats.

My seats are tired and I am looking at all options including recovering the originals same as stock. I saw some scheeel seats on Ebay that were $700 each that I really liked the look of. These GTS seats are real nice and beats removing the cushion anyday!

That's a great looking seat! And appears it would allow pretty good access getting in and out for everyday driving (which full on racing seats do not do).

But, a bit pricey for me.

I'm building a similar looking version from an original 914 seat. A friend has done one and it's very effective. Cost well under 200.00 (mainly for upholstery work).

When I start I'm going to try to do some documentation for posting.

trekkor how thick is that cushion? That is what I really would like to do. Taking out the seat cushion for AX works great but(t) is a little hard on the

The seat cushion is about an inch thick. Dense foam.

Look...Compared to the stock thicky.
