I guess the front end is all torsion bars... does anyone have an "easy" way to lower the front end?

I've never had a car with torsion bars before...

then drive slowly and carefully to a good alignment shop; your camber and especially toe will be out of whack. you may have the steering shaft bind until you loosen the coupling Dutchman clamps. search for threads referencing "bump steer" to decide you options for adding rack spacers.

if you lower the front so far you have no suspension travel, the car will handle like crap no matter how good you think it looks or feels ...
