what so i do if i need to check for rust on my rocker panels and the screws are stuck solid???

have already tried gobbs of penetrating oil guess i just need to drill but can i do this without screwing up the panels???

yes, i have done it before. gotta be carful not to slide around too much.
take a drillbit that is just about the size of the screw-shaft, it should center fine on the screw head, once you're through the head, it'll pop off, then take the rocker panel off and drill out the rest of the screw. be careful not to enlargen the hole too much.

My under rocker bolts have all been cheese-head screws, so a Hammer driver or locking pliers.

BFH and a sharp chisel will take those screw heads right off. wink.gif

If they are "screws" then a dremmel might help grind off the heads!

heat has helped me get screws un-stuck...
