914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Need an Out of State Plater

Posted by: 76-914 Jun 4 2012, 08:04 PM

I'm hoping someone can refer me to a plater to do some lug bolts. I'm in SoCal, so I'm pretty sure that our local platers have been reduced to using Lo VOC "shiny" latex paint shades.gif Any good ones in AZ or NV???

Harvey Weidman still uses real plating in Oroville California...

What about al reed in orange, a little closer... Or Eric Shea's source, assuming they do more than cad plating...

I think there is a chrome plating shop somewhere in Fresno.

Thx, I'll check them out. Durability is a concern. That's why I didn't think CA was a good bet with our anti-pollution guidelines.

Al has my wheels but I was told he didn't do the lug bolts. I've got an order in with Eric, so I'll check with him.

You might consider Nickel Plating. I use a place called Cadillac Plating, in Orange CA. Very reasonably priced and a couple of days for turnaround. A complete set of lug nuts might run you $50.00 or so.

Nickle, hmmm. I'll keep it in mind. Thx for the replies but I did want and found an out of state plater in NV. 40 yr's in business, triple CP, $38 for 16 lug bolts. http://www.abcplatinginc.com/http://www.abcplatinginc.com/
