914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Air Filter Options?

Have a '71, 1.7. I do not like the concept of the oil bath air filter. Any viable alternatives? Have seen those where they stick a K&N filter on the end of a piece of PVC pipe. Guess they work but don't like the idea of the filter being exposed to the elements.

Never had a problem with mine, once I figured it out. Autocrossing it sometimes made it puke some oil.

Now the K&N 's sitting on the 40 IDF's will present thier own set of problems. w00t.gif
