914World.com _ 914World Garage _ I was told--yellow to black? Are you crazy?

I've had 7 cars and still have 3 but never a black one. I did all the work myself and you can imagine how many gallons of paint striper were used. You can change the color of any car but be prepared for a lot of extra work! Ray

I wrestled with going black for a long time, my 73 2.0 home depot orange (Bahia Red) is original and that was the only reason I didn't go black. Your car looks so good I am thinking of black all over again! Great looking car!

Yes--I did polish the wheels myself. You'll need to use some sort of abrasive to get the plating off of the alloys. After that it's all elbow grease with rubbing and polishing compound.
