914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Which is better Fuel Injection or Carbs?

My car has carbs on it and I was wondering if it was better or worse than FI? Also how hard would it be to switch it back to FI?

Yeah it is.

Fuel injection, but it would take some work and all the bits.

What size is it?

The definitive answer:

Yes, it is. Better or worse. (Or both at the same time!)

If you like carbs, keep the carbs. If you like fuel injection, see if you can go back to FI. They can both be made to work reasonable on a stock engine; they both have their pluses and minuses.

On a non-stock engine, the stock EFI usually won't work well.

It's a 1.7.
