I was out today, finding a powdercoater for the first time and lo and behold there were two 914's in the next parking lot. One looked rough, but the other might be ok. I will check on them next time I see the place open they were parked at. That is if, Bill doesn't come swooping in from SC and buy them.

Red-4722903991, I think it had a 2.0 emblem on it. This one looked the best.

More importantly, neither of them was in the VIN database. Now they are...

Find out more so we can flesh out the information on them!

Body is pretty much trashed but look closely and you will see 5-lug conversion, some nice seats and steering wheel and who knows what the motor has

By the way what do the VINs of these two tell us? What year cars?

475 = 1975 1.8 or 2.0
472 = 1972 1.7
originally, but who knows after 40 years.
