So Iam changing my oil and when I pull out the sump filter and out pops what looks like half a O-ring like the one on the filler cap. But Iam not missing anything.

Is it possible for something that large to work its way down???

Or is this the start of a larger beast???

May be part of the windage tray seal?? Is it orange?
