The 25 JAHRE 914 came in a commemerative set of a small diecast orange 914 and a 914 25 JAHRE pin and the poster.
Yes I have collected all three. Actually I found them at Ventura German Autofest year before last.

That would be about $300 for a car cover you can't use outside of your garage...

The poster is nice though.
And cheap (cheap = good )
Approx 39 x 15 inch for $12.50

Update...

I just got an e-mail from Udo (from the german 914 club)
The poster will be 11 euro shipped to my door

Shipping and packaging from me to the US is gonna be quite a bit though, around 10 euro...
So at the current exchange rate, that's about 25 bux

If you're still interested, please lemme know
I need commitments. I don't wanna end up with half a dozen of these posters or eat shipping

The LeMans and Nurburgring posters were delivered to my place just before the weekend

I'm still waiting for the 25 Jahre posters
These take a little longer, since they are paid for by bank transfer and since it's not within the Netherlands, it takes a little longer before they receive the money. But it shouldn't be long now...

As soon as I have 'm all in house, I'll post payment details and ship the whole bunch to Gerald (who will distribute within the US)

Transfering money abroad through the bank is a PITA

Update...

Just got word from Germany that the posters have (finally) shipped
Should have em after the weekend

The bank transaction abroad took f-ing forever, which is why it took so long...

I'll ship 'em to Garold the minute I get them and let you all know the final cost

Update...

I took delivery of all the posters last thursday and tomorrow, I will send them to Garold (ITSA914), who will distribute them

I've send everyone who ordered posters a PM or e-mail with a request for their address info. If you didn't receive that PM or e-mail, please PM me your address, so I can mail a complete shipping list to Garold a.s.a.p.

I will follow up with payment info tomorrow, after I know the exact shipping costs

Once I receive the posters I will ship them Priority mail. Priority mail costs is $3.85, which includes delivery confirmation. If you want insurance it will be $1.30 extra.

The 25 Jahre posters I have seen were about half that size.

Another update... not very good news I'm affraid...

Garold received the 25 Jahre posters just before x-mas. He contacted me that the tube that the posters were shipped in was crushed and had servere water damage (so bad it fell apart)


We're going through the paperwork/red tape right now to get the insurance for the shipment to pay for new posters
This is gonna be fun... I'll keep you all posted on any updates
You will receive your posters, just gonna take a while longer...

I can now just sit in a chair and not feel like I am going to fall. Any, thank goodness for my work laptop and wireless hookup at home. Update...

Just so you all know or as a reminder, here's what went down:
The posters were send as 2 packages (they were send on the same day)
the first contained the LeMans and Nurburgring posters and the second held
the 25 Jahre posters
The LeMans/Nurburgring posters arrived at Garolds place after about 10 days
without any issues
The 25 Jahre posters were delivered to Garold much later (day after xmas
IIRC) and it was damaged pretty badly. The tube that held the posters was
crushed and had waterdamage so bad that it pretty much fell apart on itself.

I am currently working on the insurance claim for the postal service with Garold
I have received the forms and have most of the paperwork needed to file the claim

I have one fear... The package was shipped as a "gift" to avoid import duties and taxes. As a result, the value wasn't mentioned on the shipping form. I'm keeping my fingers x-ed that this won't bite me in the ass now...

What ever happens, you need not worry about any of it. Even if the insurance doesn't pay, I will make things right, either by paying for new posters myself or by refunding your money.
If you'd rather not wait on what's gonna happen and want your money back right now, feel free to e-mail or PM me and I will take care of it.

Yet another update with never ending saga

Of the 22 (25 jaher) posters I received 9 were damaged. Jeroen and I are still working out the cliam for the damage, but I would like to get the remaining posters out of my place before anything else happens to them.

Here is what I'm asking and offer. I need 8 people willing to wait for their 25 Jaher poster until the damage cliam is cleared up before I start to send out posters to those that have paid me (I counted myself).

So far I still need shipping payment from:

So if I take these guys off the list I am now down to 5 people. If you ordered one of the other posters also I will send that one to you now and will send the 25 jaher later.

IF and I say IF, you don't mind a poster with wrinkled edges let me know. I want everyone to be happy with what they ordered. Once I find my @@#!@@ camera I will post some pics of the damage to the "BAD" posters

Guys I'm on the road traveling, when I get home I will post a list. Jeroen & I have hit yet another we were sent to many LeMans and not enough Nurburgring I hoped to have the missing Nurburgring posters by now, but I have no date of when they will ship. I sent out what I had, if you have a 25 jaher & Nurburgring poster coming I will send the 25 Jaher out over the weekend and send the Nurburgring when they arrive. Sorry guys this is the best I can do. Trust me I & Jeroen know how much a pain in the this has been.

Awesome, thanks for the update, I just wanted to make sure mine weren't already sent and lost in the mail. I'm waiting on the 25 and the 'ring...however/whenever you want to ship them is fine with me, whatever is easiest for you.

Hey guys, a little update here...

It looks like the insurance claim on the damaged posters isn't going anywhere fast.
So, I ordered the new posters regardless.
I hope it won't take them as long to get to me as last time...
(crossborder bank payments seem to take forever to get processed)

I'll let ya all know when I receive them and ship 'm off to Garold again

I'm trying my best to set it all right, but it feels like my hands are tied behind my back...

Glad they survived this trip across the ocean...

Been battling with the a$$whipes from the post office for insurance on the damaged shipment

Ofcourse they don't wanna pay
They're trying every smoke-screen in the insurance book... I'm not sure I'm gonna get my money back, but I'm sure as hell gonna give 'm a headache for at least twice the money they owe me

The remaing posters went in todays mail. They were sent priority mail so you should have them by Tuesday.

I do have extra's and once I am sure that everyone that order one has theirs then I will start a new thread with the extra's for sale. All the money from the sale of the extra posters will go to Brad's bail fund.

I waited till the everyone got theirs to say thanks for doing this. They look great.

My son put them up already. Along with a couple others I had saved. Instead of using a poster hanger to put them up, he used tacks. Not in the poster but all around the edges. About 1 tack every 5 inches. Now where each one of them is I have a hole in my drywall or I guess I should say about 40 holes per poster.

Two of the posters he put up are crooked so he is going to rehang them (80 holes now).

Glad I'm never moving. He can patch the holes when I'm dust.

That would be me. Yes, I know you want both (actually there are three) and like I said before, once I am sure that everyone that order way way back last year, has theirs I will then post a new thread offering the extras I have.

I already have you down on my list, so don't worry. As for price $15 each plus $6 (1,2or 3posters) to cover cost of shipping & shipping tube. (no more Priority shipping tubes, they SUCK! )
