What is the size and the part number of the optional five lug Fuchs wheels available on the '70, '71, and '72 914-6?
A buddy has a couple of five lug 14 x 5.5 Fuchs he is interested in selling. We think they may be 914-6 wheels.
Thanks
Eddie
They were the same wheels offered on the early 911E and other "comfort"-spec 911s.
Mr. PET says:
911.361.016.90
--DD
These wheels are part number 901.361.016.00.
I believe they are et46mm and were offered on 67-71 911T & 911E, and early '70 914-6.
Does that seem correct?
Are they common or rare?
Thanks,
Eddie
They are pretty common & available Cheap as many owners upgrade to 15"s
Hose Hangers
I also have heard that the 14" Fuchs are supposed to be used with tube type tires. I haven't had any problems with mine, but haven't used them since I switched to 15" wheels.

I know they are considered undesirable by some..
A lot of people upgrade to wider 15" and 16" rims.
I have generally paid about 50.00 each for them
depending on condition when I come across them.
I'd buy some for that price if they were straight and
not gouged up.
beats using them for hose hangers......
The scrap guys pay 3-5 bucks apiece for those .....................................
