Had a bit of a problem. I think I hooked up my rear trunk light backwards.

The wiring melted due to a 25 am fuse installed instead of the proper 8 amp.

Can any one tell me if the rear trunk light is on the same fuse as the license plate light fuse #8 ?

I never checked the fuses when I purchased this car. What a mess !!!!!

that should have been 2 gray wires [power] and 1 brown [grd]. . and yes the 2nd gray wire goes back to the plate lights. .

Where does the brown ground wire go from the trunk light?

I am trying to trace these back.

The gray wire at the fuse box is a little melted, but not that bad.
