914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 2.0 price check

Posted by: mtndawg Nov 2 2012, 09:28 AM

I have my eye on a couple of 2.0L cars and need a price check. I owned a rust free 1.7L from '08 to '10 and a 911 from '10 to '12, just sold it...yes I sold the 911. As I recall I sold the 914 for around $5000ish. Right now I'm looking at a couple of cars priced in the $7k to $9k range. One is an LE. For how much have you recently paid or sold your 2.0L? Is 7k to 9k about right? Here are pics of the previous cars. Thanks!

Its all about condition. $7-9K are drivers, expect less than perfect.

Jeff, your LE page has been SUPER useful to me in understanding what to look for in the LE. Thanks a lot for so much valuable info.

Try these links below, then go to the other current sales comps at evil-bay, 914world & 914club classifieds (PM/email the sellers if not posted), & any info here from this post.

I agree that those $7-9k 914s are rougher DD prices - you'll find a super nice 914-2.0s in the high teens to twenties, and nice but not CW quality in the lwo to high teens nowadays - a bit better than the depths of the recession, but not up & out value & economy-wise yet.

Good Luck! beerchug.gif

I know of one two-liter that is probably going to sell for close to its asking price of $30K. I would be afraid to drive it--it's that nice.
