It happens when you visit those free porn sites. Just ask Elliot if you don't believe it.

Someone yesterday complained of this.
I don't think its the site. Might want to dump your cookies and run a virus scan.

it only happens when i do a search on the forum. certain words are underlined and if you scroll over them ads pop up. Cars, taxes, all kinds of stuff.
Weird.
I will run another virus scan.
try doing a search

Its a virus.
Some kind of toolbar.
Try looking at your toolbars and disabling everything you don't recognize.

you get the virus when you look at the all the barely legal girls in the hot chicks thread

The only 'highlight' you should see when doing a search is the yellow background in the result that matches your search words.
Like so:

I just cleaned my Computer & everything is OK. The were words that were underlined ( like the word Pictures on the picture thread) that when your mouse moved over them it would show an advertisement

"OpenX" trys to load every time I navigate in this site.
Google tells me OpenX is a pop-up ad hosting site.

If you run Google Chrome or Google Tool bar it has a thing called Google ads where it will do searches on words and bring up ads for them.

I have noticed lately that when you are notified of a Flash or Java update, the install manager "asks" you if you want to install the xxx.com toolbar or the mcaf** virus checker. You have to uncheck the box to not have these loaded with your updates.
I hate damn near all software these days. It is getting to the point that you will actually need to read the agreement before you click "agree".
