Gorgeous wheels on that car. Look at all those electric panels. Are you powering up an atom splitter or weapons factory or somethin?

Excellent Photoshop too!!! The original pic with the car in a shed and chickens running around just didn't have the same impact. Good job.

I'm in Houston. What tracks do you run and what clubs?
I'm at MSR Houston about 2-3 times a week.

I run at Harris Hill Road in San Marcos several times a year. My car is primarily for AX. I am with Pca and Sasca.

Cool. Hopefully we'll get to meet up one day.
I've never been to Harris Hill but I've heard it's fun.
I'd love to see a HSR race at COTA. I'm building another 914/6-GT racer currently.

Very nice. What size are they?

Posted by: ned911 Dec 7 2012, 02:11 PM

You guys should try TWS in College Station, lots of fun.

Rumored to be a SVRA race at COTA in November that will bring CVAR along with it - SVRA is now owned by a local and a CVAR member.

Posted by: Woody Dec 7 2012, 02:20 PM

I will eventually make it out to TWS. I've been wanting to.

Doesn't really matter to me. The car doesn't see more that 3000 miles a year. They would probably last 6000 miles but there will be some track days involved so probably much less. I got two years out of the RA1s I just took off and they still have life left. I

In a wheel hunt myself for the wife's 914 track car. Finding 15x7 in 4x130 has been problematic.

I've heard the rate for COTA is $50K per day, this from the local vintage org.
