914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Hard to find a good 1976....

Been looking for a nice '76 914 and can't seem to find any that don't need a bunch of work. We all know they only made a little over 4,000 of them; however, I thought there would be a couple of decent survivors out there!
I should have kept the '76 project I sold. It is more solid than the cars on the market that I have seen so far.

I might consider parting with mine. low miler 76 2.0 California car.
PM me and we can talk.
Very good original condition body.
Way too much new to list. Mechanically almost entirely new.

I have a 76 that needs a TON of rework but I am considering it as a project for myself.

I know what you mean, Bill. They have a nice solid feel. I know the bumpers are heavier but the car is more aerodynamic than previous versions. Or so I was told by King George a few years ago.

I don't need another 914....
However, it would be nice to have a 2.0 (4 cylinder) from every year ('73-'76). Just need a '76 to finish the "collection".
Yes...the "pink panther" is a '76. However, it is too rusty and too damn ugly to be anything more than a parts car!

I've driven Jake's car. It is a well sorted & as solid as they come. I'd highly recommend his car if your looking for a 76

If you get this nice 76, are you going to drive it back?

I saw that ad. Looking at the pictures in the link that is not an $8500 car. I would be willing to bet that rear trunk needs replacement. Freshly painted longs and floor pans (maybe even undercoating) scare me.

I know where a very nice76 is. It won't be cheap, but it is very nice.

You will be as bad as TC soon.
You know his goal is to own EVERY 914 at least 2 separate times.
