914World.com _ 914World Garage _ SS fuel line

Posted by: jeffdon Feb 13 2013, 04:21 PM

Yet another reason to drag my feet on getting the engine back it.

I am thinking while the motor is out, this would be a good time to replace my old lines. I am running carbs, rear mounted fuel pump. All I need is the one line to go through the tunnel and connect to the rubber lines that attach to the tank, and the fuel pump.
I am not running any sort of fuel return line.

Which option on the tangerine site should I be looking at?

Yes, but I do not need all the parts, just SS line. Looks like the long one would do it. Is that the $60 one?

Give them a call. They will help you. I called yesterday and got great service. I had some questions and got exactly what I needed. They talk 914!

Nothing against Tangerine, but I used Rotary's kit, and it was great. He can sell you everything you need.

You aren't going to save much money just buying one. You might want to consider buying the kit with both lines, just in case you decide one day to go back to FI.
