Since I have opened up the center tunnel repairing the clutch tube. Is there some rust spray or any other chemicals that is reccommend to stop the rust inside the center tunnel. What works ?

That doesn't look like much.
Ospho and Rustoleum would do the trick.

There is a layer of dust rust, kinda hard to see the color of it in the picture, so you guys would just leave it be ?

He didn't say where the rust lay. Bet he already cleaned that area. Hope the rust ain't back at the firewall.

Home depot has a good product called rust destroyer. I used it for a few years. So far so good. It is spray on. They used to have a brush on. I've used both.

Eastwood has a spray with a long tube that is designed to spray inside box frames. Cvver any openings other than the one the tube goes in. If that stuff gets on your interior or windows, it might never come off...Ask me how I know!
