Yep...walked through there in 01...I think they did have the silver 914-8 sitting in there when I went...the dealership wasn't nearly as decked out as that though...

Sweet facility...waissach was cooler though tongue.gif

I went there in 2003 with my kids. It wasn't very busy so we had the run of the place. The curator even took us upstairs to the "Sonderwünsch" department (not open to the public.) Wow. Unfortunately he wouldn't let us take any pictures there. BTW if you want to take the factory tour, you need to make reservations months in advance. I was there in February and it was booked solid even then.

The curator even let my kids sit in some of the museum cars. Here's my daughter in the Donohue 917/30:

BTW In that piture she is wearing a 911 Carrera RS creamsicle hat that is only available in the museum.

Here are son and daughter in/on the TAG McLaren F1 car:

I didn't get to sit in any cars. Schade.

My son and I between (I think) a Formula 2 and an RSK:

Does she have any idea how many of us would LOVE to sit in that car!!! I hope she didn't wash those pants, she could sell them on Ebay!
