914World.com _ 914World Garage _ What is the Best Replacement Carpet?

Posted by: Kaduku Feb 25 2013, 12:51 PM

Sorry, tried doing the search but results require to much looking into.

Looking for a brand that closely matches the original and is easy to install. Of course it must be quality in appearance.

Not sure what color your going with, but maybe you can ask and see if the vendor of your choice can match the binding to that of the original carpet. Typically the new grey carpets are binded by black, instead of the medium grey that was done by the factory. Should make it look more oem, if that's what you want. Send them a sample to match to. I'm sure most of them will accomodate your request.

Thanks for the info everyone and thanks reharvey for posting that pic. I guess I would see the difference in quality from those pricier carpets.

Would it be worth spending the extra money?

I would spend a little more and get a better quality carpet if you can get the color you need.
