Does anyone have the proper size of the o-ring for the flywheel? Pet only shows a part number. This is a 4 cylinder motor

Any of the usual vendors will have the proper one. Just order it...

Plus any aircooled VW shop, it is a special Oring with a graphite coating.

OK I give up. I thought it was a standard Buna material. I didn't know it was graphite coated. That is the killer. I just hated 10.00 for shipping for a 1.00 part I could get locally. No bug shops here.

Try www.theoringstore.com. They have every size and type. Got 10 tranny shift selector seals for $2.80. I have no intrest in the place but man it is a amazing to see what you can get there vs the parts store.

Just checked they have o-rings up to 100 mm! I think the fly wheel is like a 56 mm ID X 1.5 but that is based on a 20 year old memory! So I would verify before ordering.
