I just realized that 9-14-2013 is a Saturday this year.

Its the 40th anniversay for the mighty 1973 2.0L 914s. :yeehaw:

The Reno Air races are the same weekend, coincidently.

Should we be thinking now about a big 914 broo-ha-ha somewhere?

Maybe a North-Meets-South 914 reunion in Santa Maria or....?

What else is going on that day/weekend?

HHMMM. This could be a tough one for me. Santa Maria, 60 miles away. Somewhere in Utah, WAY far away. Santa Maria, not the most scenic place in the world. Somewhere in Utah, one of the MOST scenic places in the world. What the hell. My car porbably won't be ready by then anyway.

According to the VIN data base there is only one 914 who's VIN ends in 2013, but it is shown as destroyed

My car will [should be] legally driving around by that day, if the event is anywhere between san luis obispo and the cali/mexico boarder, count me in!
