I've finally been logging some significant time on the red headed step child. Removed all the sound deadening material on the floor pan. Just a heat gun and sharp wood chisel. The torch caused too much halucinogenic smoke.

Next - sand to bare metal, ospho, self etch prime then paint. No joke, there was only about 3 square inches of rust...if that.

I'm really hoping I can remember how all this goes back together...
