headlight aiming.

Is there a US wide standard???

x feet away the lights should hit above and below a line for high and low beams?

From the article: "For mechanical-aim headlamps, you will have to do your best to place the top edge of the low beam 'hot spot' on the applicable horizontal line per the table above." Measurements are in the article.

It's 20 feet back, 3 feet up...
Low is below, high is just above or on the line.

Funny,
When I fixed my 911 from the accident, I rushed to put the light in and left on a business trip.
Started driving when I got back, never did aim the light on that side.

It was not even showing up on the wall....

You can always tell who the guys are that have replaced headlights themselves.

Forever turning the adjusting screws because they think they are holding the lamp in place.

Looks like Marty Feldman driving down the street at night.
