Still in recovery mode... a long tow... 3000 miles round trip!
but I just got back from the HMSA Legends event at Laguna.
wow a lot of nice cars, a lot of nice Mclarens
this was my first time at Laguna
it is great!
took me most of the event to learn the line and learn the track
I felt like I still have a long ways to go, but took seconds off each time out
one more day would have helped fine tune my driving, but the track was everything I had hoped for!
the car ran great all weekeend
no complaints there....
The road trip was pretty great and we caravaned with Allen Johnson
a couple of modern porsche's came out from colorado too, so all in all 4 colorado drivers made it out.

3 914/6 cars in attendance.
Hans brought his real GT out and the car is looking amazing. He had a seal leak in the end, but ran strong

the guy that bought ferg's car must have stuffed a bigger motor in?

Great pics of a nice variety of cars!
When my wife and I ventured west to go to the last Rennsport Reunion, we fell in love with Laguna Seca and the Monterey Peninsula. I heard that there are movements afoot to close down the raceway (environmental weenies?), and I certainly hope the Raceway prevails. It's too nice a facility to lose!
Anyone have any updates or did I just hear a rumor? I'd be looking forward to the next Rennsport as a good excuse to go out and visit again.
AJRS

I missed a few cars
but a great turn out for sure
if you ever have the chance to drive laguna... TAKE IT!
if you ever have the chance to run wheel to wheel then that is even better by far.
the feeling of passing is great... in my final race, I passed in the last lap for position... I think it was for 3rd in my run group and my best lap time of the weekend.
worth the 3,000 mile tow and all the diesel it took to get there.
Awesome pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting.
Very nice. Did you get any video of you races?
Such a fun track. The corkscrew is fun but the corners right after it are what makes that track for me.
Pics Posts of the year; Thanks.
