Has anyone changed the molding between the rear window and the engine cover? how do you start? I bought new molding and need to change it but dont know where to start.
Bernie
IIRC, it just pushes in. Don't cut it too short!! Ask me how I know.
should you remove the window first?
Bernie
The weatherstrip?
It should just push on but mine didn't, it kept falling off because the clips that hold it on were too weak. I eventually glued it on with weatherstrip adhesive. I'm not 100% happy with it but it hasn't fallen off yet.
Is the window loose at all? It depends on how high up the window adhesive is (i think).
My window was loose, so I just pulled it out. I had to take the seats and the back pad off to get the window out. Its a commitment for sure, but you might as well re seat the window with fresh sticky.
I've done it without pulling the window. Like jkeyzer said, it just clips on.
how much does this seal cost

Let me know how you install yours.
DAM seal
I bought one and can't keep the thing on. I have completely removed it for fear of it flying off.
Let us know how the install goes. I have't tried an adhesive yet.
