Finally getting around to putting all the brake lines back on the restoration- a '73 2.0 with front suspension from a '70 T and rear trailing arms from a 914-6 (with beautiful "new" calipers front and rear from PMB).
I have a set of "stainless" braided brake lines I got a couple years ago probably from Pelican that are for a 914 ( label says 914 and 914-6. The end that goes on the bracket on the car itself is no issue, but the other end that mounts to the strut or trailing arm is too big for the hole. Am I missing something??
TIA...
Buy the correct ones from Eric. There cheap and the right thing to do.
Don't use stainless at all.
Or buy the right ones. Don't modify the body to make wrong stuff work.
