914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Can I put 2.0L rockers on a 1.8?

I assume that they should fit just fine.

I will clarify: I stole the 1.7/1.8 rockers from my running 1.8L to convert a 2.0L to the swivel feet.

Now can I put the 2.0L rockers on the 1.8L that I "raped" for it's rockers.

Obviously I need to readjust the valves afterwards...

Yes, you can. Since I'm a wee bit superstitious, I would consider swapping the rocker shafts and associated bits over as well as the rocker arms. Just in case the parts have "worn in" to each other.

BTW, I believe that the 1.8 and 2.0 rocker arms are the same. Only the 1.7 rocker arms are different, and that's really only in the diameter of the adjuster.

Why bother, they are the same rocker assembly UNLESS someone changed them out? 1.8 & 2.0 are 10mm adjustment screws. The 1.7 is a 8mm screw. The 1.7 rocker set up is the one to use if you are going for porsche swivel rockers.
