I'm wanting to reproduce the engine sheet metal in fiberglass. I know about Getty. If someone has a set we can use, we promise to get it back to you in the same condition or blasted and powder coated, if you wish.
save yourself,, buy the getty, it used to be cheap and they have doubled the price, labor , and if youre a rookie you will probably Fup the tin pulling it from the mold..then what ??

Jeff, I'd be pulling the molds.
Still a steep learning curve on 5 pieces of tin = too much work imho
or buy the fiberglass and mold from that ??
Actually I have some repo stuff from JP I would lend you and its simpler...
I have oem you could use. Pm me and we'll set it up. Mark
If your Hell Bent on making the job more difficult (I invented it) then at least do a sexy Carbon Fiber lay down.
cheap solution for you - i have a Beach Boys set of 3 of the 4 pieces (frt, sides) in FG, plus the oem tin rear piece from my oem engine - $100 cash takes it all; just stop by the next time you drive from Reno to Sacto
