....around the corner.
I let "them" finagle me into AX Chair...person in our local PCA.
I plan use my powers to DNF everyone that has a better time than me so's I can get TTOD at least 2 or 8 times (depending on my whims) this next year. If I survive 2005, I have a decent shot at the Parade TTOD in 2006.
That would be the only way I would win.
We'd still kinda like to see those flares...
KT
yeah , i think im gonna get stuck as safety insp. this year...
It might take more trhan that to get TTOD at the parade??!! We all know who has won it more times than anyone.....
I know a few of those people.
I've watched Glen Brooksby run in Reno a couple of times. His car is so FAST, you'd think it was turbocharged. Matt Lawrence (Sporthuas - Reno) built the car. I mean this car was really really fast.
I've seen Tom Provasi run his 914 several times down at the Marina, but it's not a big course, so you don't get the same feeling, i.e., exhibition of pure speed, that you would in Reno. Tom did compete at Reno last year, but he was driving a 911, I think in a stock class.
I wish that Tom would run a few more GGR and Zone 7 events with his 914.
Tim Fleming has a great car and is a good driver. This year he's been driving with a bad arm, that he can't fully utilize, so all his finishes have been exceptional to say the least. We saw Tim at the Zone 7 events at the Alameda, in Reno and Fresno, although at Fresno he was driving a 914-6 and we got the best of him, which sure was fun for a change.
The West Coast AutoX experience has been great, and it's only going to get better thanks to Brad and this club.
