my friend insists he wants to change the oil cooler seals without removing the engine. he has L-jet 75
i know one of you have done it in the car. I have not. i usually pull teh engine

Can't imagine trying to get the cooling shroud off with the engine in the car. Just to get the cooler nuts off....wait a sec...there's a smiley for this. screwy.gif

I have done this a couple of times and it is a tight fit to do anything in there but it can be done.

I've done this and it's not easy. It's not something just anybody can do unless you've had a lot of experience working on these cars.
