Very nice Elliot. Damn, that thing looks good.
I never knew I would like those wheels on a teener, but it works. It werks.
The Zonker was awesome, but I have to say, you have created the perfect balance here.

Bad ass Elyut!

Elliot, the car looks great ..... nice balance between classic and modern aggressive. I have to admit that I cringed when you started tearing into the fenders, but you did a great job.
Regarding the b&w, I think the images would look a little better if you make the images slightly lighter, without blowing out the highlights, sorta like below. It'll give the images more "pop" and maybe even make the car stand out from the background a bit more.

Thanks Dave. I haven't made any B&W shots with a digital camera until now. I wasn't going for any special look, just a simple shot. Thanks a lot for the advice. I'll try playing around with it a little.

Thanks. The car photographs great from about 25 feet away. Any closer and you get to see the imperfections of which there are many.

Looks cool.
Not my car, but I might consider painting the Zeus fasteners to make them blend in....unless that is a sign of being cool...dunno.
As always Elliott, you have a great eye, the car sits just right, nice wheels and flares.

Now, you are shooting on a DSLR in Black and white mode, correct? Or did you take the raw (or high res color) files and then convert them in an application?
OR are you actually shooting B&W film?
Just wondering.
Be well and the car looks FANTASTIC!

Using a DSLR in B&W mode. It took me 15 minutes of reading the manual to figure out how to do that.

HA! THat is the best way, although I wonder how much is lost when it applies an algorithm to a color image.
Time for me to look more deeply into it.

You lost me at "algorithm". Something about Al Gore playing drums??
