I see that AA does not carry them, I don't see them on the Pelican site either. I know the size, but can't find bolts that size, except grade 8.8.

Nice, and they sell pieces vs. cases. No minimum qty either, but $6 to ship $1.2 worth of bolts. I will keep them in mind.

On that page, it clearly states pressure plate bolt, but the accompanying diagram shows a muffler bracket bolt. Thought I'd mention this so you make sure you're getting the right bolt.

Clark , of all the things George has , he does have these bolts . Gotta look in the right sections of the catalog, I got mine form him a few years ago , also get the o-ring seal for the rear of the fltwheel as well as the washer/plate that goes under the bolts , along with the pilot bearing. They have low profile heads on them to clear the clutch disc . You get em from who ever , but AA does have them , heck use the 1-800 number ...

They dont need to be as strong as you would think.
They are not under that much strain and it is in shear.
(however I am sure someone will have a story about breaking them before).

Because it's a push type clutch, the bolts aren't holding much pressure. And they're not really holding any shear pressure. I don't know for sure what the spec is, but from what I see in the PET, they look like standard 8.8 bolts.
