914World.com _ 914World Garage _ My car turns 30 this month!

Posted by: AZ914 Dec 8 2004, 11:25 AM

Well,

BLOOD just turned the big THREE-OH..! Back when he was 28, he was feeling and looking a little old.
To cheer him up, I bought him a quadruple bypass, some new shoes and soles, some plastic surgery (took out the wrinkles, got a chin lift), and some new color to make him look younger.

Here are a couple of pics from the 29th birthday party. Poor guy got all messed up... beer3.gif

And finally... what he looks like at 30!!

For his 30th, he got 2 new fuses and a battery. Woopee!

Thanks.. I had a fellow member, 914GT paint the car. Maybe he can chime in on the details. I have the steps documented somewhere.. I'll look them up! Yes it is a base/clear

My 914 and I share the same year, ...

decoding the Karmann body number from my 914 says that it was built at 26 June - my date of birth is 27 June
unfortunately the year doesn't match IPB Image
