First a little before info...

I've had my car for 3.5 years. it came with this "beauty" bar. the body shop I go to suggests that a previous owner likely used it for parking purposes. ie: it's been tapped and put a couple dents in the bumper where the bar attaches.

I've always wanted to swap it out, but have been dealing with the mechanicals first. here's a pic at the start of today...

Garold listed a nice bumper a week or so ago and I jumped on it. Of course, a nice new bumper shouldn't have a rotting old pad on it, so I hit up Mikey for a new one. A little bit of garage time today and...

I'll get the valance cleaned up this winter. it didn't stand out so much before!

short addendum, check out how clean the old bumper was underneath. a shame its got the bar and dents given that there's almost no rust on it.
