Edwards was the son of a F1 Driver, and raced in the Porsche Supercup & drove for the ALMS MOMO GTC Team.

He was a passenger, Instructing in a GT3 Porsche

Oh no.... Losing these drivers, and so many young ones is awful.

Sean was supposed to drive this weekend at Petit Le Mans, and he's been in a few awesome battles this season in the ALMS. He'll be missed.

The driver survived the crash but is badly burned....tragic news for all involved

He had tweeted that jokingly that he hoped there weren't any kangaroos. I guess his student hit a tire wall and the car burst into flames...

RIP Sean Edwards. Such a tragedy, and so young.

Ironically Guy Edwards helped pull Niki Lauda from his fiery wreck in '76.

And I think Sean portrayed his father doing that in the new movie Rush.
